Tips on Using this Resource at Home

What would it be like to live and work on a farm? To find out, visit the 4-H Club's online virtual farm with your child. Together, watch video clips, read stories, and play games to learn all about life on six different types of farms!

Everyone comes from somewhere--where do you come from? Are you Native American or did your family originally come from another country? Help your child draw a family tree to explain your heritage. Which relatives are immigrants? Where did they come from? When and why did they come to America?

After watching this program, have a family discussion about immigration. Why do people come to America? Should everyone be allowed to come or should there be rules? If so, what should those rules be? Why?
